We bring you a regular little round up of cool things we've seen on the internet we think you might like. You know, just to keep you in the loop...
We've got a little bundle of creativity and colourful cuteness for you this week!
Check out this new stationery range for kids by Ola. We're already big fat fans of Ola's colourful, geometric designs but the arrival of Ola Jr. has the BleepBleeps studio chair dancing with delight! There are three lovely notepads (each with ace retro reporter style wire binding) and a whole bunch of colourful greetings cards for pals, new parents, teachers... It won't be long before we find an excuse to send one! Find out more here.
With the David Hockney exhibition at Tate Britain in its final days, we thought it might be nice, for those of you who have visited and loved it and for those of you who haven't been able to visit in person, to introduce you to this: 'Meet The Artist: David Hockney' by Rose Blake. Commissioned by Tate Publishing to coincide with the exhibition, illustrator Rose Blake created a super-fun, beautifully put together David Hockney art activity book for kids. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, it's flippin' glorious. Find out more about how Rose researched and made the book here.
And, rounding off our week of creativity and cuteness, meet MYO. MYO (Make Your Own) is a brand new bi-annual print magazine from the brilliantly bonkers brains of designer Donna Wilson that's setting out to celebrate and promote creativity. Aimed at adults and kids, each issue, you'll find pages and pages of ace DIYs, recipes and interviews with various creative people tackling the big question: 'What does creativity mean to you?' Good on you, Donna! Count us in. See more on Instagram!
[Oh - and if you missed Donna's Life Stuff interview, you can read it here!]
Until next time! :)
