We bring you a regular little round up of cool things we've seen on the internet we think you might like. You know, just to keep you in the loop...

Round about now, at the time of writing, Santa is loading his sleigh and preparing to deliver gazillions of toys to the gazillions of children who've made it on to The Nice List. Isn't that right, mum? Dad? Yes. So while he does all the hard work (!), we're excited to take a nostalgic flip through this - 'Toys' the latest book by photographer Kevin Fox.

Documenting 100 years of iconic toy design, the book features photographs of classics like Etch-A-Sketch, The Big Yellow Teapot and Subbuteo (and TONNES more). Not only that but it's littered with fun facts and interesting back stories about some of your favourites. Did you know there's a limited edition perfume that smells like Play-Doh? Good stuff.

And talking about toy design - take a look at these! A marvellous combination of modern design and traditional wooden toy making, designer Oliver Helfrich reckons there are but four elements required to make a great toy: wood, colours, shapes and imagination. And so Woodplay was born. As much as we love tech toys (of course we do!), these balancing, stacking and building toys really are especially beautiful.

Um, Santa? Is it too late to ask if you could bring us a big box of Woodplay for Christmas?

Pretty soon we'll be bidding 2016 farewell and ushering in a shiny new year. And that seems reason enough to get the glue sticks out and make some extra-fun party hats! Checkout the Neon Confetti or Watercolour ones by Oh Happy Day or the Gold Fringe ones by Almost Makes Perfect. We really, really love the idea of these New Year Resolution ones by Walk In Love. Have your family decorate their hats, then write 2017 promises and goals on them!

Between Suzy Snooze getting fully funded on Kickstarter to seeing Sammy Screamer taking her place in the gift shop at London's new Design Museum, it's been quite a year at BleepBleeps HQ. To all our collaborators, supporters, friends, fans and extended BleepBleeps family - we say a big THANK YOU for all your help and support and we wish you a brilliantly Merry Christmas and a fabulously colourful New Year.

See you in 2017!

Five Minutes of... Christmas music! We've compiled a little selection of our favourite Christmas songs for you in a 'Happy Holidays!' Spotify playlist. There are old-time classics and some off-beat twists on old-time classics. We did consider adding in some Alvin & The Chipmunks, but you will be pleased to hear we refrained from that.
