We bring you a regular little round up of cool things we've seen on the internet we think you might like. You know, just to keep you in the loop...
Little by little, Christmas cheer is spreading at BleepBleeps HQ! We've not *quite* cranked up the Christmas songs yet (we'll save that for next week), but we'd be lying if we said we weren't feeling just a little bit jolly. That's why, this week in The Loop, we're getting YOU in the mood for all things festive.
We cannot get enough of this super-fun Shake-It Confetti Gift Wrap DIY. You don't need fancy supplies and you don't need to be a craft whizz. Jazz up the kids' presents in just a few simple steps (and using really easy to get hold bits and bobs). All you'll need is a hole punch, some coloured paper, some unwanted tinsel, scissors, plain wrapping paper, clear cellophane and a ruler. You'll love this. Find the full DIY over on the marvellous Mini-Eco blog.
Every year we have dreamy visions of designing our own family Christmas cards, crafting and installing elaborate Christmas decorations throughout the entire house and hand making extra special gifts for teachers and school friends... But the truth is, we're really just looking forward to just putting our comfy socks on, sharing a tin of Quality Street with the kids and watching The Snowman together. That said, we do love a Christmas activity - and these printable decorations by Smallful fit the bill nicely. Since most of the hard work is done for you, they're easy to make (with minimal mess) and the whole family can lend a hand!
Ahead of the school holidays, we've been keeping our eyes open for fun, festive things to do. We're excited about some of the kid-friendly Christmas theatre shows London has to offer this year. Check out Ready Steady Colour's Christmas Feast (running at The Children's Story Centre, Stratford until 23rd December) or - (hankies at the ready) The Little Matchgirl at Shakespeare's Globe looks utterly enchanting!
And we leave you with this. Five Minutes of... The Vince Guaraldi Trio and 'My Little Drum' from the film soundtrack of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Ok, 3 minutes, 9 seconds. Enjoy!
