We bring you a little round up of cool things we've seen on the internet we think you might like. You know, just to keep you in the loop.
Now, this wasn't intentional, but it seems we've looped in to some serious good vibes this week!
Friends With You is an LA-based art collective busy spreading love, magic and peace everywhere they go with their super-sized, inflatable installations. This is Super Moon. Installed in Seoul, Korea to coincide with Korean holiday Chuseok, Super Moon floats 60ft high on Seokchon Lake. Super Moon is on display in all its glory until October 3rd. Friends With You hope to see visitors gather around the moon to experience a sense of unity and peace. Dreamy!
This week we're thrilled to see C.A.T.S' (Citizens Advertising Takeover Service) Kickstarter dreams come true as 68 advertising sites in Clapham Common tube station in London are replaced with ace photographs of cats! A project by creative collective Glimpse, C.A.T.S is giving commuters a break from being bombarded by advertising messages and replacing sell, sell, sell with meow, meow, meow. The now famous cats featured on the posters are stray moggies from Battersea Cat & Dog Home and Cats Protection. The campaign appeared on 12th September and will be active for two weeks.
Meet Sky Brown. Sky is from Miyazaki, Japan and has been skateboarding like a little demon since she was knee-high to a toadstool. Now, still just 8 years old, Sky is the youngest girl to skate in the Vans US Pro Series and she has been blowing spectators' and commentators' minds. Look at her go! You can see more from Sky on YouTube and, while you're at it, check out her 5 year old brother, Ocean! He has some mean skills too.
And we're leaving you today with five musical minutes of childhood nostalgia courtesy of Ralph McTell and Alphabet Zoo! Gather the kids around and listen to singalong 80s classics such as Ollie the Otter, Gordon the Goat and Holly the Hedgehog!
